We all think we know the photographic work of the award-winning press photographer Barbara Klemm well. In autumn 2016, the Hessenpark open-air museum show a selection of photographs from Hessen for a special exhibition. While looking at these recordings, we get to know another Barbara Klemm who was not necessarily known to us before. We do remember similar everyday cultural recordings from their travels around the world. Now, however, we are strangely touched by the scenes from everyday life at home from the 1970s to the 1990s, which are lined up in a loose sequence, because it is part of our own history what these images are about.
