For more than 20 years, the native Bremen photographer Vincent Peters belongs to the first league of international fashion and portrait photographers. Customers such as Dior, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as publications in magazines such as. VOGUE, ELLE, Numéro, GQ, Esquire and Harper's Bazaar give his work a continuous and worldwide visible presence.
Known for his first book "The Light Between Us" which brings together international stars including Charlize Theron, Penélope Cruz and Cindy Crawford, his second workforce, released last autumn, reveals a personal, partly intimate page.
Starting from his famous star portraits, the individual exhibition invites the visitor to take the private perspective of the photographer. With delicate, sensitive ballet sceneries reminiscent of Edgar Degas, he takes us on a journey through his portfolio; there are fashion-styled recordings full of classical elegance, in addition to pure nude photographs in a minimalist setting, exciting and stressed hotel situations in addition to immediate and intimate close-ups.
They all have an analogue recording as well as Peter's brilliant light setting, which makes an unknown person appear just as beautiful as a renowned personality from the ranks of Hollywood.
