Known for his first book, The Light Between Us, which features recordings of international stars including Charlize Theron, Penélope Cruz, and Cindy Crawford, his second work Personal, published last fall, shows a personal, sometimes intimate side of the artist.
Based on his famous star portraits, the solo exhibition invites the visitor to take the photographer's private perspective. With delicate, sensitive ballet scenarios reminiscent of Edgar Degas' world of images, he takes us on a journey through his portfolio; Stylish recordings of classic elegance are juxtaposed with pure nudes in a minimalist setting, tense hotel situations in addition to immediate and intimate close-ups.
All have in common the analogous recording manner and Peters fulminante lighting, which makes a stranger appear as beautiful as a renowned personality from the ranks of Hollywood.
