Kurt Hutton

*11. August 1893, Straßburg, Frankreich | † 1960, Aldeburgh, England

Born in Strasbourg as Kurt Hübschmann, Kurt Hutton studied from
1911-1913 law at Queen's College, Oxford.

Until 1918 he served in the military service with subsequent convalescence in the Swiss town of St. Moritz.

1921 he married Margereta "Gretl" Ratschitzky. After assisting at Germaine Krull founded
Hutton a portrait studio in Berlin.

1934 he emigrated to London, where he started his career as a Image journalist.
Kurt Hutton died in 1960 in Aldeburgh, Suffolk.
