When the deep blue sky says good-bye to the sun, the hour of available light photography has come. Especially in the Main metropolis of Frankfurt, you literally have the great opportunity to see some great photos between skyscrapers and half-timbered houses, because during the twilight we are going to motivate hunting in this workshop in Frankfurt. When the lights of the city flare up and fascinating scenes illuminate, it is said to act. Mirroring facades in the evening light, diffuse illuminated side streets, illuminated high-gloss façades: these are the impressions we want to capture with the camera.
The theoretical introduction follows the decisive lesson in the city of Frankfurt: At the right time in the right place you make the most beautiful photos. Until far into the evening we find this guiding principle confirmed with every shot from the most diverse perspectives and viewing angles. You will learn how to be an experienced photographer with Available Light, not only by using the available light, but also by using the available light, without the help of a flash, the even more beautiful pictures. And this under natural time pressure. Because it means: Capture lighting moods at the right time, quickly assess the mixed light situation and the contrast range and quickly make the shots.
Not only the exposure, but also the choice of the lens must be right. For the creation of HDR recordings (high dynamic range) - recordings with an extremely high range of contrast - you will learn the correct use of exposure series that are later converted to HDR images. The next day starts with the evaluation and processing of the created pictures from the day before, before we turn to the second practice part in the Frankfurt city center. On the third day, we will also devote your created images before the workshop ends with the meeting and final presentation of your pictures.
