Portfolio Coaching with Torsten A. Hoffmann

In cooperation with Torsten Andreas Hoffmann, the Leica Galerie Frankfurt offers an exclusive coaching that focuses on the images of each participant. The respective photographs are analyzed in detail in a group of only 4 people. The following findings are the focus of the considerations:

• What makes a photograph interesting and expressive?

• Why is another photo powerless and boring?

• What is a picture composition?

• Which laws does imagery follow?

• When do images appear flat and uninteresting and how do you manage to bring strength and mood into them?

Torsten Andreas Hoffmann will systematically examine your images with you and, together with the other participants, find out what your imagery is about and how you can improve it. Your pictures are carefully checked for your creative strengths and weaknesses. Torsten Andreas Hoffmann will explain the basic principles of image design to you, completely tailored to your pictures. He will sensitively guide you to your individual point of view and form of expression in photography.

Requirements: Please bring at least 30 loose prints with you that represent the course of your photography so far (minimum size 18 x 24 cm, maximum size A2, if possible, they do not have to be master prints).
