Leica SLR Camera Workshop and Photowalk

Date to be announced

For almost 10 years now, film-based photography has been experiencing a renaissance. Luckily, Leica still produces an analog variant alongside the digital rangefinder camera line. In the field of SLR cameras, the used market is currently the only source for creating such a device.

With the Leica R3, introduced in 1976, the evolution of a professionally designed modern camera system began, which with the last representative, the R9, has been in the field of SLR cameras and lenses for more than three decades.

Insider tip

R cameras are currently still very cheap to buy on the used market. In addition to a puristic, timeless and ergonomic classic design, this camera series also combines precision and robustness. In addition, thanks to a still considerable supply of spare parts, it is still possible today to service all R3 to R7 models without any problems and to repair them if necessary. The optics available for the R system are currently sought-after lenses for use on modern mirrorless digital cameras due to their enhanced optical quality. The R series therefore offers the ideal basis for a long-term investment in modern analogue photography.

“Seeing is believing”

The Leica feeling can't be described with words! Reason enough to take a closer look at the qualities of this fascinating system during a workshop and photo walk, both theoretically and practically.

The workshop and photo walk deals with a beginner and experienced photographer.

In addition to a theoretical introduction to the extensive R system, we will also go into all relevant differences between the individual model generations. What to look out for when buying a used vehicle, which model is suitable for whom and the service situation.

In the subsequent photo walk, we will lern to use the R cameras and its individual models.

We have provided a special tariff for students (please bring your student ID with you).

The workshop is limited to a maximum of 15 participants.
