Leica photographer Holger Sà can not only be seen in the Leica Gallery Frankfurt with his current exhibition "Eintracht Frankfurt - A New Era".
A new cooperation with the five-star Hotel Sofitel allows Holger Sà to present his various works (from fashion to his work as the official team photographer of Eintracht Frankfurt) in the reception area of the hotel . The exhibition can be seen at the Hotel Sofitel (near Alte Oper) in Frankfurt am Main in the reception area.
The career of the german-italian photographer Holger Sà began in his former home town of Rio de Janeiro in Brasil. Developing an eye for detail while wandering and exploring the colorful and vibrating city, he got to know every nook and cranny. His main focus was on the popular carnival and everyday life of the inhabitants. Constantly looking for new challenges, Holger Sà came back to Europe after 12 years.
He established himself in fashion photography, working for Sonia Rykiel to Julien Fournié and Nina Ricci, and is now one of the chosen backstage photographer at the Paris Fashion Week. Both designers and models appreciate his discrete style, capturing the right moments without being heard or seen. Sà uses the light available, prefers to work alone and undiscovered as this is the only way to move freely and capture the decisive emotion. Portraits of Celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Sara Sampaio, Keanu Reeves and Udo Lindenberg show that brief moment of closeness which gain the viewers fascination.
His latest project led him to the world of the „Bundesliga“. As team photographer for „Eintracht Frankfurt“ he got access to areas where nobody else had taken photos before. Extraordinary photos made during the last year testify the emotionality and allegiance which are necessary to drive the players and team to higher success, which fascinate the fan community as same as the unique viewer.
